Peru: The Mystical History Tour (16th-26th June 2011)

In cooperation with our local agent in Peru, Atlas Reizen is proud to present “The Mystical History Tour”. Running from the 16th to the 26th of June, this trip is unique in that travellers will witness the two most visually compelling festivals in the Andes: Corpus Christi and Inti Raymi. Normally these two festivals are held at least a month apart, as Corpus Christi is a moveable feast, but in 2011 they will coincide for the first time in 68 years.

In addition to two spectacular festivals, some exclusive details have been added. Amongst others, you’ll be able to pay a visit to the ancient archaeology of northern Peru and take part in an authentic Shaman offering in the Urubamba Valley. If you’re looking for some days of relaxing luxury, you can extend your trip with a Delfin cruise. This 4 day 3 night cruise departs right after the tour, and runs from the 26th to the 29th of June.
