Photography Tours and Workshops
In Kim's own travels, the love of nature is one of his key focuses and he loves to share his passion with great enthusiasm. He is passionate about working with people and will motivate you to uncover hidden talents and achieve groundbreaking work: "I like to shift the limits of the digital camera technology. So much more is possible in this rapidly evolving digital world. Unfortunately, many digital photographers are losing the natural touch which made the analogue photography so unique. This is mainly due to 'over editing'. That’s why during my photography workshops and travels I also spend time “on the go” and utilize old techniques - such as infrared photography – in combination with the latest technology. Besides improving or learning new techniques the workshops will focus mainly on individual tasks. This personalized approach is very enriching. During the evenings there is a critical discussion of the daily results. Adobe Photoshop and Light Room skills are taught and/or further developed. At the end of the day the evening discussion will focus on how to achieve optimal development of your pictures in the digital darkroom over a good glass of wine and a nice meal.

Focus on Malaysian Borneo
On the natural paradise island of Borneo dive during short workshops or extensive photography trips with Kim deep into the primary rainforest we will guarantee unique experiences and magical scenes. For example, national parks Danum Valley and Kinabatangan are ideal environments to enhance your photography skills. They bring out the best in you. An ad hoc group consists of up to a maximum of six guests. Both novices and more experienced photographers are welcome. All that is required is a DSLR, enthusiasm, passion and a minimum of time.

Each photo tour and workshop will be completely customized and designed to your personal requirements. Give us your preferred destination, duration, level and available budget and we will work in consultation with Kim Briers to create an entire workshop or photo tour for you.
